Critique 2Faced Dance Company: In The Dust . 24th October 2011. Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, Kent. The all male cast of eight dancers presented their audience with an intense performance of In The Dust . Whilst having elements of softness and sensitivity threaded throughout the show, juxtaposed against this was the fierceness and domineering spirit of the cast. In Subterrania , Tom Dale’s choreography seemed to question notions of humanity. This was apparent through the use of movement, props and music that evoked symbolic gestures attached to this theme.
